ALL FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Eligibility

The UPS Store Canada’s Win A Trip Where You Ship 2021 (the Contest) is open to legal residents of Canada, including Quebec, who have reached their provincial age of majority at the time of entry, and who are active Aeroplan Program (as defined hereinafter) members in good standing during the Contest Period (an “Eligible Participant”). The UPS Store Franchisees and their employees, employees of MBEC Communications Inc., and Aeroplan Inc., Air Canada and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and affiliated agencies and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.

The Aeroplan program is the loyalty rewards and recognition program operated by Air Canada’s subsidiary Aeroplan Inc. (“Aeroplan Program”). The Aeroplan Program allows individuals, or their parent or legal guardian in the case of a minor, to enroll as members and to open an Aeroplan account, to accumulate Aeroplan points (“Aeroplan Points”) through the purchase of products and services from participating partners and suppliers and to redeem Aeroplan Points for a variety of travel, merchandise, gift card, and other rewards provided directly by participating partners or made available through Aeroplan’s intermediary suppliers, all in accordance with the Aeroplan Program’s terms and conditions available online at the following address: aircanada.com/aeroplan-termsandconditions. Membership in the Aeroplan Program (“Aeroplan Membership”) is free. Contestants can enroll online at aircanada.com/joinaeroplan.

2. Sponsor

This contest is sponsored by MBEC Communications Inc., 1-1115 North Service Road West, Oakville, Ontario, Canada, L6M 2V9.

3. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in this Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent on being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements so forth herein.

4. Contest Period

The Contest begins on Dec 1, 2021 at 9am AT and ends on Dec 22, 2021 at 23:59 PT (the Contest Period). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest in two ways.

With a transaction outlined as follows: Ship a package at The UPS Store using the store’s UPS account between Dec 1 – Dec 22, 2021 to a destination in Canada or the US & be automatically entered.

Non purchase entry via mail-in ballot, as outlined in these rules.

5. How to Enter

Customers who ship a package at The UPS Store in Canada using the store’s UPS account between Dec 1 – Dec 22, 2021 to a destination in Canada or the US, will automatically be entered.

For no-purchase entry, mail name, address, phone number, email address and preferred The UPS Store location to MBEC Communications Inc., Attention: Marketing, 1-1115 North Service Road West, Oakville, Ontario, Canada, L6M 2V9. All mail-in entries must be received no later than Dec 22, 2021 at 23:59 PT. The UPS Store is not responsible for ballots that are not received due to postal issues of any kind.

6. Prize Drawing

On or before January 10, 2022, 11:59 PM ET, at the offices of MBEC Communications Inc. which are located at 1115 North Service Road W, Unit 1 in Oakville, Ontario, the Sponsor will select the potential winners. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners via telephone or email to a maximum of two (2) times each. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

By entering this Contest, the Selected Entrant authorizes the Contest Sponsor to use as required, his/her name, photograph, picture, place of residence, voice and (or) statement in connection with the Prize, for advertising purposes, without remuneration or compensation of any kind.

In order to be declared a winner and prior to receiving the prize, the selected entrant undertakes to sign a declaration and Release Form.

7. Winner Notification

The potential winners will be notified by email or phone. The potential winners will be required to be in compliance with the Official Rules in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or the prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by a random drawing from among all the remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. Prized will be fulfilled approximately between 2-5 weeks after the conclusion of the Contest and contingent upon the nature of the prize.

8. Prizes

There is one (1) Grand Prize awarded. This will consist of 100,000 Aeroplan points that can be used towards a round-trip flight for two (2) anywhere that Air Canada flies within U.S and Canada.

The Aeroplan Points will be credited to the winner’s Aeroplan account within approximately two (2) weeks following being declared a winner. The approximate total value of the Prizes will vary depending on the Aeroplan reward schedules and other factors, as detailed in the Aeroplan Program terms and conditions available online at the following address: aircanada.com/aeroplan-termsandconditions (subject to change without notice).

The Aeroplan Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Aeroplan Points have no cash value but are redeemable under the Aeroplan Program for flights and other rewards. The retail value of rewards obtained using Aeroplan Points will vary depending on a range of factors including the type of reward issued, details of which may be found at https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/aeroplan.html. Aeroplan Points may be redeemed only in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions of the Aeroplan Program. Although Aeroplan points have no monetary value, the approximate value of the Prize is $3,000 CAD.

All Aeroplan Points distributed to members are subject to the general terms and conditions of the Aeroplan® Program available at www.aeroplan.com.

9. General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operations of the Contest may be in violation of criminal and civil law and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to damages (including attorney fees) and any other remedies for any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

By entering the Contest, each eligible entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, nor is associated with Aeroplan, its parent company Air Canada, and each of their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and that MBEC Communications Inc (o/a The UPS Store in Canada) is fully responsible for the conduct and administration of the Contest, including the selection of winners and the distribution of prizes.

10. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (Released Parties) from and against any claim of cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Contest, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular, tower or cable transmissions, lines or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) application downloads; (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Contest, including , without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Contest, the announcement of the winner, the incorrect downloading of the application or the processing of downloaded entries in any contest-related materials; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or part, from entrants participation in the Contest or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any case of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Entrant waives the rights to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages.

By entering the Contest, each eligible entrant further covenants and agrees to keep harmless and to release from liability Aeroplan, its parent company Air Canada, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, subcontractors and affiliates with respect to any claims or actions, losses, fines or legal costs which arise, directly or indirectly in connection with the Contest and the administration thereof, the Contest Prize and any related activity.

11. Disputes

Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any kind of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Oakville, Ontario.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsors privacy policy.

By entering this Contest, you acknowledge having read these Rules and agree to abide by them.
